President Murmu on four-day visit, program fixed from Goa to Jharkhand!
President Draupadi Murmu will be on a four-day visit to Goa, Karnataka and Jharkhand from December 27 to 30. According to the program released by the President’s Secretariat, the President will leave for Goa on the evening of 27 December. The objective of this tour is to participate in programs of cultural, educational and strategic importance in various states.
On December 28, the President will reach the coastal city of Karwar in Karnataka, where she will take a submarine voyage from the Indian Navy’s Karwar Harbour. This program is not only important from a technical and strategic point of view, but is also considered a symbol of the country’s maritime security capabilities and self-reliant defense system. This experience of the President will boost the morale of the Indian Navy soldiers.
After this, the President will reach Jamshedpur in Jharkhand on 29th December. Here she will participate in the centenary celebrations organized on the occasion of completion of 100 years of Ol Chiki Lipi.
This ceremony is being considered an important initiative towards the preservation of tribal culture, language and heritage. On the same day, the President will also address the 15th convocation of NIT Jamshedpur, where she will give the message to the students to play their role in nation building.
On December 30, the last day of the tour, President Draupadi Murmu will address the inter-state mass cultural gathering ‘Kartik Yatra’ organized in Gumla, Jharkhand. On this occasion, she will highlight the importance of the country’s diverse cultural traditions, folk arts and social unity.
Overall, this visit of the President is considered to strengthen the message of national unity and development in the fields of defence, education and culture.
