Vrinda Karat said on the case of Kuldeep Singh Sengar, ‘The family members of the accused will definitely support…’!

CPI(M) leader Vrinda Karat reacted to former MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar’s defense on behalf of his daughter. Speaking to IANS on Tuesday, he said that there is nothing surprising in the fact that the family members of the accused will support him.

The surprising thing is that now BJP leaders are coming forward and supporting the accused, this is an unfortunate situation, which cannot be accepted under any circumstances. BJP should come forward and clarify its stand.

He said that the decision of Delhi High Court in Kuldeep Singh Sengar case was unfortunate. But, now the Supreme Court has intervened in this matter and given full rights to the victim as well. She can also go to the appropriate authority and present her side.

He also objected to the statement given by Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding infiltrators. He said that the BJP government has been at the center for so long.

In such a situation, by now the Central Government should have come forward and taken action against the infiltrators. But, till now no action has been taken against the infiltrators. Now the government is continuously mentioning about infiltrators. By doing this the government is trying to hide its failures.

He said that the so-called infiltrators being mentioned are not infiltrators in the true sense. He is repeatedly fanning this issue to gain political mileage.

Meanwhile, regarding the murder of a student from Tripura, Karat said that indecent remarks were made about the student. The working style of the SSP in this matter is under question. Hating someone because they don’t look like us is unfortunate.
