Nana Patole’s Statement Receives Support From Charan Singh Sapra Who Said Comparing Rahul To Lord Ram Is Absolutely Correct
Political rhetoric has once again intensified in Maharashtra. Congress spokesperson Charan Singh Sapra hit back at the recent statements of BJP leaders and spiritual storytellers and said that what is needed in the society is love and justice, not hatred.
He raised questions on the issue of comparison of Rahul Gandhi with Lord Ram, the controversy over Shahrukh Khan and BJP’s silence on various massacres.
Responding to Congress leader Nana Patole’s comparison of Rahul Gandhi with Lord Ram, Charan Singh Sapra told IANS that Lord Ram is a symbol of dignity, compassion and social welfare.
Lord Ram always worked to unite the society, spread love and harmony. Today Rahul Gandhi is also walking on the same path. They talk about love, not hatred and raise their voice for the weaker sections of the society. In such a situation, if someone makes such a comparison, there is nothing inappropriate in it.
Attacking BJP leaders and storytellers, Sapra asked where were these people when Ankita Bhandari was murdered in Uttarakhand. He said, “Ankita was also a Hindu girl. Was her tragic murder any less tragic? Why did these leaders not speak out at that time?”
He also mentioned the murder of Angel Chakma from Tripura, who was murdered in Uttarakhand. Sapra asked, “When Angel was called names like Chinese and Momo and his life was taken away, where were these so-called religious contractors?”
Responding to spiritual leader Devkinandan Thakur’s statement on Shahrukh Khan and KKR buying the Bangladeshi player, the Congress spokesperson said that Shahrukh Khan is a superstar, hence he is easily targeted.
He sarcastically said, “BJP leaders should also explain why the Indian men’s and women’s cricket teams kept playing matches with Pakistan after ‘Operation Sindoor’.”
Charan Singh Sapra said that BJP and its associated people raise their voice only on selected issues, whereas the real questions are related to justice, humanity and social harmony. He alleged that efforts are being made to spread hatred in the name of religion and nationalism, which the people of the country have now started understanding. Those who like development are standing with us.
