Baloch Leader Letter Jaishankar China Warning

A serious geopolitical warning has emerged regarding Balochistan. Baloch representative Mir Yar Baloch met India’s Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar has been warned that China may deploy its military troops in Balochistan in the coming few months. He has termed it as a serious and imminent threat not only to regional security but also to India.

In this letter written on January 1, 2026, Mir Yar Baloch, describing himself as the representative of the “Republic of Balochistan”, said that if the defense and freedom forces of Balochistan were continuously ignored, then the way could be opened for China to intervene there militarily. “If the capabilities of Balochistan’s defense and freedom forces are not further strengthened and they continue to be ignored as per the old pattern, it is possible that China may deploy its military forces in Balochistan in the coming months,” he warned.

The letter further said, “The presence of Chinese troops on Balochistan soil without the will of the 60 million Baloch people would be an unimaginable threat and challenge to the future of both India and Balochistan.”

Mir Yar Baloch also expressed serious concern about the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). According to him, the strategic alliance between Pakistan and China CPEC has reached the final stage, due to which the situation has become more dangerous. He appealed for concrete and mutual cooperation between India and Balochistan, saying that the threats faced by both the countries are real and coming to the fore in the near future.

In the letter, the Baloch leader also mentioned the age-old historical and cultural ties between India and Balochistan. Citing holy places like Hinglaj Mata Temple (Nani Temple), he described them as symbols of common heritage.

Apart from this, Mir Yar Baloch also appreciated the action ‘Operation Sindoor’ taken by the Government of India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He wrote that this operation was against the targets of terrorism supported by Pakistan and reflects India’s unwavering commitment to regional security and justice and extraordinary courage after the Pahalgam terror attack.

At the end of the letter, Mir Yar Baloch expressed hope for stronger cooperation between India and Balochistan in the future. Describing it as a natural extension of the partnership between our two great nations, he said that in the changing regional situation, this cooperation can prove to be decisive for both.
