Regarding the raid, he told news agency IANS that the decision of Calcutta High Court has exposed the entire propaganda and claims of CM Mamata Banerjee. He said that the decision of the High Court has made it clear that the things TMC was saying were wrong.
Raising questions, Tarun Chugh said, “What was there in that file that the Chief Minister himself had to go there to hide it? This is the first time in the history of India when a political party, the Chief Minister and the entire government are resorting to unconstitutional and illegal methods in the ED investigation of a private company.”
He alleged that this behavior of CM Mamata Banerjee clearly shows that this entire drama is being staged to save people close to her.
Tarun Chugh also targeted former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family. He said that Lalu Yadav and his entire family have been crying for political vendetta for years to save ‘Jungle Raj and Loot-Khasot’, but the court has made it clear by refusing to stay the trial.|
The allegations in the case are very serious and the public will have to answer for it. Chugh said that the court’s decision sends a message that no family or political legacy can stand before the law.
On the other hand, in Kolkata, Union Minister of State Sukant Majumdar also made serious allegations against Trinamool Congress. He said that his allegation is that TMC MLAs and their supporters are deliberately creating sabotage to stop the SIR process.
