BMC Elections: Vote is our strength, Ranbir Kapoor Shabana Azmi voting!
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) plays a very important role in the governance of Maharashtra. The people of Mumbai have got the opportunity to take part in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections and everyone from common people to special people are excited about voting.
Since morning, everyone from politicians to Bollywood stars have been motivating people by casting their precious votes. Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, actor Rajat Kapoor, designer Manish Malhotra, Hrithik Roshan’s sister Sunaina Roshan, Padmini Kolhapure and Shabana Azmi were also seen casting their votes.
While talking to the media, Ranbir Kapoor said that after being a citizen of the country, it is everyone’s duty to play their part in every election. Voting is our strength, and we complain throughout the year, so today is your chance to cast your vote. Along with this, the actor also thanked BMC for organizing big events throughout the year.
Actor Rajat Kapoor and designer Manish Malhotra were also seen leaving the booth after voting. He showed the voting symbol in front of the media and appealed to everyone to vote. Actor Vicky Kaushal and Hrithik Roshan’s sister Sunaina Roshan also reached the polling booth to cast her vote.
Apart from this, Padmini Kolhapure and Shabana Azmi also came to cast their precious votes. Speaking to the media, Padmini Kolhapure said, “It is very important to vote. Today is a holiday, so it does not mean that you should relax at home. Voting takes very little time, so go out and cast your vote, otherwise you will have no right to complain later.”
While talking to the media, Shabana Azmi said that for me, beautiful Mumbai does not just mean cosmetic beauty. I believe that if we want to make any city beautiful, then we have to give equal rights to every citizen, every resident and for that it is very important to vote.
Earlier, actor Raza Murad was also seen at the polling booth. While talking to the media, he said that whenever you get a chance to vote, do not shy away from voting, because it is not just a task, but the ultimate duty of every citizen of the country. Those who abstain from voting do not even have the right to complain.
