Muslim woman twice implicated her husband in a conspiracy of cow smuggling, absconded from the court as soon as it was exposed
Like a film story, a case of conspiracy to frame the husband in false cases has come to light in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. A Muslim woman conspired to get her husband implicated in cow smuggling and cow slaughter cases not just once but twice in order to be with her lover. According to the police, this entire plan was very well planned and its objective was to pave the way for divorce by sending the husband to jail. However, as soon as the conspiracy was exposed, the woman’s Aman was arrested, while the woman managed to escape from the court premises.
According to Lucknow West Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Vishwajit Srivastava, the Muslim woman and Aman were identified on Instagram about two years ago. Aman is a resident of Bhopal and often used to come to Lucknow and meet her. The woman is a post-graduate in English Literature from Aligarh Muslim University, while Aman has taken a B.Tech degree in Computer Science, while the woman’s husband Wasim is a businessman involved in the paper business.
Police investigation revealed that a plan was made to trap Wasim for the first time in August 2025. Aman contacted Bajrang Dal by creating a fake identity of ‘Rahul’. In September, he hid 30 kg of meat in Wasim’s Mahindra Thar parked in a parking lot in Hazratganj. Wasim’s wife provided the keys to the car. After this Aman informed the Hindu organization, which alerted the police. As a result, Wasim was arrested and sent to jail, although he was released on bail after a month. Later it became clear that the meat was kept in the vehicle deliberately.
After the first conspiracy failed, the woman and her lover made a second plan. The woman booked the porter vehicle online using her husband’s mobile phone and gave the OTP to Aman. On January 14, Aman reached Lucknow with 12 kg beef from Bhopal. The bagged consignment was loaded into an e-rickshaw from an address in the old city, whose delivery was fixed near Wasim’s factory in Kakori. Aman again informed the Hindu organization, after which on January 15, Kakori police stopped the rickshaw and recovered the beef and took Wasim into custody.
During investigation, Wasim told that he suspected his wife of having illicit relations, that is why he had installed CCTV cameras in the house. The footage revealed that two days before the incident, the woman had obtained OTP from Wasim’s phone while he was in the washroom. After this, evidence of contacting Aman was also found.
Kakori police station inspector Satish Chandra Rathore said, “Aman booked an online porter from Aminabad to Kakori using Wasim’s identity. The beef was procured from Bhopal, which was hidden in a cardboard box and kept in the vehicle. To ensure prompt police action, Aman informed Bajrang Dal members under the name ‘Rahul’.”
According to the police, Aman was arrested after laying a trap on January 18, who confessed to the crime. The woman had already fled from the house. On January 20, three policemen arrived at the Allahabad High Court premises to arrest her, but she managed to escape amid the ruckus of the lawyers. After this incident, the concerned policemen were suspended and a case of illegal entry was registered against them. At present, the search for the woman is going on and the police say that she will be arrested soon.
