This 13 year old cricketer will challenge the giants in the mega auction, this is the base price

IPL 2025: The mega auction for the Indian Premier League 2025 is scheduled to take place on 24 and 25 November in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The list of final selected players for the auction has been released by BCCI. BCCI has also included a 13 year old player in this list. He is the youngest player in the history of the league to participate in the IPL auction.

BCCI has included 13-year-old cricketer Vaibhav Suryavanshi in the auction list for IPL 2025. Vaibhav belongs to Bihar and is a part of India's Under 19 team. The base price of Vaibhav is 30 lakhs. It remains to be seen which team bets on Vaibhav.

BCCI released the list

1574 players had registered for the IPL 2025 auction. BCCI has excluded 1000 players from this. Only 574 players have been shortlisted. Which includes 48 capped Indian players. Apart from this, there will be 318 uncapped Indian players. There are 208 foreign players. Let us tell you that only 207 spots are vacant out of which 70 are to be filled by foreign players. The base price of 81 players in the mega auction is Rs 2 crore. Whereas the price of 27 players is Rs 1.50 crore. At the same time, there are 18 players in this list, whose base price is Rs 1.25 crore.

These players are included in the elite list

BCCI has divided 12 players into groups of 6-6 into M1 and M2. Players included in M1 are Jos Buttler, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Kagiso Rabada, Arshdeep Singh, Mitchell Starc. The base price of all these is Rs 2 crore. Chahal, Livingston, Rahul, Shami, Siraj and Miller are included in M2. The base price of all the players except Miller is also Rs 2 crore. Miller's base price is Rs 1.5 crore. Rahul has been placed in M2 despite the same base price. It remains to be seen who among these 12 is the most expensive player of this season or of IPL history.
