India is reviewing the proposal of Board of Peace: Ministry of External Affairs!

The Indian Foreign Ministry has said that he has received an invitation to join Trump’s ‘Board of Peace’. At present India is keeping an eye on every aspect of it and is reviewing it. He said these things in the regular briefing of MEA on Thursday.

Responding to a question, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, “We have received an invitation from the US government. We have been asked to join the AAP Board of Peace. We are reviewing the proposal.

India has consistently supported efforts to promote peace, stability and dialogue in West Asia. “Our Prime Minister has supported all initiatives that pave the way for long-term and lasting peace in the entire region, including Gaza.”

At the same time, Islamabad announced on Thursday that it will go to Washington to participate in the US ‘Board of Peace’ meeting (proposed on February 19). Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tahir Andrabi confirmed this. He said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will attend the Board of Peace meeting to be held in the US, along with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

Pakistan is one of the 14 countries that signed the charter of the ‘Board of Peace’ during the World Economic Forum in Davos on January 22.

The Board of Peace headed by Donald Trump was initially created with a limited purpose in mind. It was first created as a small group of global leaders, whose main purpose was to monitor the Gaza ceasefire plan. But reportedly the Trump administration’s ambitions regarding this board increased.

Trump expanded its scope and sent invitations to many countries. It has been indicated that in future this board will not be limited to Gaza only and will play the role of a global conflict mediator.
