India Ai Impact Expo 2026 Prime Minister Narendra Modi To Inaugurate

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate ‘India AI Impact Expo 2026’ on Monday (16 February) in the national capital New Delhi. The grand event is being organized at Bharat Mandapam and will run from 16 to 20 February. ‘India AI Impact Summit’ will also be organized at the same venue.

Spread over an area of ​​more than 70,000 square meters, the expo has been organized in 10 different arenas. Global technology companies, startups, academicians, research institutes, central ministries, state governments and international partners will participate in it. The objective of the event is to promote collaboration, innovation and business opportunities in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Special pavilions from 13 countries have been set up in this expo, which will showcase global collaboration in the AI ​​ecosystem. These include pavilions from Australia, Japan, Russia, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan and African countries.

Welcoming technology leaders from around the world to India, Prime Minister Modi wrote on Twitter: “It is a matter of immense pride for us that people from all over the world are coming to India for the India AI Impact Summit. It also reflects the potential and talent of our country’s youth. This occasion is a testament to the rapid progress our nation is making in the field of science and technology and making significant contributions to global development.”

With over 300 curated exhibition pavilions and live demonstrations, the expo is structured into three thematic cycles called ‘People, Planet and Progress’. It is also featuring over 600 emerging startups, many of which are developing solutions that have global impact and can be implemented at scale. These startups will showcase their working models that are already implemented in real-world situations.

According to organisers, more than 2.5 lakh visitors and international delegates are expected to attend the event. Over 500 sessions will be held during the event, with participation from over 3,250 speakers and panelists. These sessions will highlight the transformative impact of AI on various sectors and discuss how to bring the benefits of AI to every global citizen in the future.

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) statement said, “This expo will be a national showcase of the practical use of AI, where policy and practice will converge, innovation will be scaled up and technology will connect with the common citizen.” The government believes that ‘India AI Impact Expo 2026’ will prove to be an important step towards establishing the country as a global hub of AI innovation.
