Salt returned to the pavilion after scoring 28 runs in 15 balls with 2 sixes and 2 fours, while Bethel contributed 23 runs to the team’s account. This team had lost 5 wickets till the score of 105, from where Will Jacques made a partnership of 54 runs with Sam Curran in 25 balls, taking the team to the score of 159.
Curran was out after scoring 25 runs in 19 balls with 2 sixes, after which Jacques added 35 runs for the seventh wicket with Jamie Overton. Jaques remained unbeaten on 53 runs in 22 balls with 4 sixes and 3 fours, while Overton contributed 15 runs to the team’s account.
