Famous screenwriter and Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra, Mumbai after his health deteriorated. However, till now no official statement has been issued by the family regarding the reason for which he has been admitted to the hospital. Fans are constantly waiting for updates regarding his health.
Salim Khan has been a veteran writer of Hindi cinema and his pairing with Javed Akhtar has been very famous by the name of “Salim-Javed”. He wrote scripts of many memorable films and created a distinct identity in the industry. The news of his ill health has worried the film industry and fans.
The paparazzi shared a video from outside the hospital on their Instagram handle. The caption accompanying the video read, “Salim Khan admitted to Lilavati Hospital”. After this, this news spread rapidly on social media.
On Tuesday (February 17), Salman Khan also reached the hospital to meet his father. He was seen outside Lilavati Hospital. According to eyewitnesses, he appeared worried. He was wearing a black T-shirt and pants and was accompanied by heavy security. However, he left from there without answering the media’s questions.
At present, no detailed information has been revealed regarding the health condition of Salim Khan. Official update from the family is awaited.
Meanwhile, recently in November 2025, Salim Khan and Salma Khan celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary. The occasion also coincides with Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma’s 11th wedding anniversary. Salim Khan married Salma in 1964 and he also married actress Helen in the year 1981.
