Gill and Arshdeep will be seen making noise in Punjab Premier League

Punjab Premier League (PPL) will be organized in June this year under the supervision of Punjab Cricket Association. In this league, Indian team’s ODI and Test captain Shubman Gill will be seen making waves with the bat. At the same time, Arshdeep Singh will also test the batsmen in the tournament with his bowling. Altogether six teams will participate in this league. There will also be an auction before the start of the tournament, in which the names of the players playing for Punjab will be bid.

This league will replace Punjab’s domestic T-20 league. Apart from Shubman Gill and Arshdeep, players like Ramandeep Singh, Nehal Vadhera, Naman Dheer, Anmolpreet Singh and Prabhsimran Singh will also be seen in this league. Vihaan Malhotra, who played an important role in India’s Under-19 team winning the World Cup, will also shine in this league. The tournament will be organized in June, but no information about its schedule has been revealed yet.

Abhishek Sharma is currently the world’s number one T20 batsman and fans can reach the stadium in large numbers when he participates in the Punjab Premier League. Through this league, Gill will have a chance to prove himself in the T20 format, because he has not been included in the Indian team for the T20 World Cup 2026.

In IPL, many young batsmen of Punjab have impressed with their explosive batting. This is the reason why Punjab Cricket Association has decided to start this league with a new name.

However, in the auction of this league, teams will be able to place bets only on those players who play for Punjab. Prabhsimran Singh made a huge impact with the bat in the last season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and scored 549 runs in 17 matches at a strike rate of 160. At the same time, Nehal Wadhera and Naman Dheer have also impressed everyone with their stormy batting in the IPL.
