Last trace of terror wiped out in Gadchiroli: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis!

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said security forces have successfully demolished the last 44 monuments installed as symbols of terror by Maoists in Gadchiroli district. I heartily congratulate the courageous police force of Gadchiroli for this. Their action is not limited to mere removal of physical structures, but it is a decisive victory for democracy over the fear-filled mindset that had prevailed in the minds of people for years.

CM Fadnavis wrote on social media platform However, the continuous and firm anti-Maoist policy of the government has brought about a major change in the situation in Gadchiroli.

He said that security operations, surrender policy, development projects and confidence of local people have increased. In this context, a well-planned search and inspection operation was carried out by about 800 personnel in a joint operation of Gadchiroli Police Force, C-60 Commandos, CRPF and Special Squads. After inspection by the BDDS team, these 44 monuments located in different forest areas were destroyed.

He said the operation was carried out in particularly sensitive areas in Etapalli, Hedri, Bhamragad, Jimlagatta, Dhanora and Pendhari sub-divisions. Where earlier symbols of terror stood, now there is trust in the administration and hope for development.

The Chief Minister said that this campaign is a symbol of the changing reality of Gadchiroli. This is an important stage of transition from fear to trust and from violence to development.

He said that this is a clear announcement that no trace of Maoism will be tolerated on the land of Gadchiroli. The rule of law is established, the path of peace and development is unshakable, and the security forces are standing firm on every front with full strength and determination to protect the public.
