From lukewarm lemon water to cumin water, these desi drinks will help you lose weight fast.
In today’s era, working while sitting for hours, not eating on time, lack of sleep and being under constant stress, all these together slow down the body’s metabolism. In such a situation, people start taking various types of supplements in the name of fat burning in order to get quick results, but both Ayurveda and science believe that the body should be brought into balance gradually and in a natural way.
In such a situation, there are some indigenous drinks, which help in weight loss as well as maintain health for a long time.
Lukewarm lemon water- In Ayurveda, drinking lukewarm water on an empty stomach in the morning is considered beneficial. When lemon is added to it, it activates the digestive system. The natural acids present in lemon help in clearing the dirt accumulated in the stomach. According to science, this drink taken in the morning gives a slight boost to metabolism, due to which the body is able to burn calories better throughout the day. Its effect is seen slowly, but with regularity it helps in keeping the stomach clean and reducing bloating.
Cumin water- Soaking cumin overnight brings its properties into the water. When boiled and consumed in the morning, it reduces stomach gas, heaviness and bloating. When digestion is correct, the body starts using fat as energy instead of storing it. Science also believes that good digestion is the foundation of weight loss. Cumin water makes the body feel light from inside, due to which the stomach gradually starts becoming flat.
Green Tea- Green tea is very popular today, but its proper use is very important. The natural antioxidants present in it reduce fat in the body. It also gives light energy to the body, which makes one feel less tired. According to Ayurveda, green tea keeps body heat balanced.
Fennel water- Fennel water is considered to provide relief for both stomach and brain. In Ayurveda, fennel has been said to improve digestion. Drinking this keeps the appetite balanced and reduces the desire to eat something sweet again and again. When cravings remain under control, unintentional overeating is prevented.
Cinnamon Water- Both Ayurveda and science consider cinnamon water to balance blood sugar. When sugar levels are balanced, the body uses fat more slowly instead of storing it. By taking lukewarm cinnamon water in the morning or at night, the fat stored inside the body starts converting into energy.
