Both medicine and Ayurveda believe that anger not only spoils relationships but also has a deep negative impact on hormones, heart, digestion and even the brain. Due to today’s lifestyle the frequency of anger has also increased. Excessive work pressure, lack of sleep and irritability are the causes of anger. Even though getting angry is a natural process, it is also important to control it. Today we will tell you easy ways to manage anger and will also know what effect it has on the body.

When anyone gets angry, the hormones in the body rapidly become imbalanced. Adrenaline and cortisol, which increase stress, get activated and the heartbeat also starts increasing rapidly. Stress causes pressure on blood vessels and slows down digestion, which is why people often lose their desire to eat when they are angry. The matter does not end here; When angry, the decision-making part of the brain becomes weaker and works less actively. Research shows that people who get angry frequently are more likely to have high BP, heart disease, migraine, acidity and sleep problems.

Now whenever you feel angry, first of all take a deep and slow breath and exhale outward. Try to go to an open place and try to breathe and move your hands outwards. It reduces the effects of stress and anger from the body. It is believed in science that before expressing anger on anything, you should stop yourself for 90 seconds. This gradually reduces anger and then we are able to understand things better.

Along with this, drinking cold water and washing the eyes with cold water provides relief. Drinking cold water calms the bile and also reduces stress. In Ayurveda, anger has been linked to bile. In Ayurveda, consumption of bile suppressant diet is advised to control anger. For this, include coconut water, fennel, coriander, ghee, cucumber and amla in the diet.
