Gayatri Parivar’s two-day mega book fair concludes!

The two-day mega book fair organized by Gayatri Parivar, Vasai at Tirumala Balaji Temple in Suncity Complex, Vasai West, was successfully concluded. There was a notable presence of devotees and readers in this event which ran from 10 am to 7 pm on 21 and 22 February 2026. Haldi-kumkum program was also organized at 3 pm and mass aarti was organized at 6:30 pm.

Through this huge book fair, a large number of devotees got an auspicious opportunity to acquire life useful literature. In this exhibition organized on the occasion of Akhand Deep centenary year 2026, more than 3200 books written by Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya, founder of Gayatri Parivar, pioneer of thought revolution and visionary, were displayed. In these books, timely solutions to current social, family and personal problems have been presented.

In the literature exhibition, along with books giving age-appropriate interpretation of subjects like Vedas, Upanishads, Darshan, Purana, Gayatri, Geeta, religion and scientific spiritualism, the basis of knowledge of Indian culture, detailed literature was made available on many important subjects like health, education, self-reliance, freedom from addiction, building values, worship-meditation, women’s awakening and child development.

On this occasion, Asha Gyani, an active worker of Gayatri Parivar, resident of Mumbai, Andheri, gave a special address in the program. He followed a life of celibacy and shared his experiences of propagating Gayatri Parivar by visiting various places in Maharashtra.

On this occasion, the responsibility of rituals and operations was performed by Asha Samani, Asha Paswan, Vivek Jaiswal and Umesh Joshi as assistant. Special address was given by Asha Gyani and Dr. Varun Manek. Naigaon and Nalasopara Gayatri family along with organizers Jitendra Thakkar and Jyoti Vasni had a commendable contribution in making the event successful.
