It is being told that due to a technical fault the helicopter had to crash-land in the sea. Pawan Hans helicopter crashed in Andaman on Tuesday (February 24) morning. A technical fault shortly after takeoff forced the pilot to crash-land in the sea. There were seven people on board the helicopter, who were rescued safely, including two crew members.

As soon as the information was received, the rescue team immediately reached the spot and evacuated all the passengers and crew members safely. According to the report, the helicopter was going from Port Blair to Mayabunder. Shortly after takeoff, the pilot discovered a technical problem, leaving landing at sea as the only option. Pawan Hans spokesperson said that the incident occurred at around 9:30 in the morning. The landing was made in very short order, resulting in minor injuries to all on board, but no serious injuries.

Let us tell you that Pawan Hans is the largest government helicopter service company in the country, which provides transportation facilities in remote areas. Politicians also use these services. The company was established in 1985 and aims to connect inaccessible areas with the mainstream.

Meanwhile, an air ambulance crashed in Chatra on Monday, killing seven people. This ambulance was taking 41-year-old patient Sanjay Kumar of Ranchi to Delhi for treatment. According to DGCA, the plane took off from Ranchi at 7:11 pm and lost contact with ATC at 7:34 pm. The plane was later found crashed in the forest of Chatra district. Investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing and the actual reason will be revealed only after a detailed report.
