22 Fake Passports At A Single Address In Ghaziabad Two Including The Mastermind Arrested

A shocking case of 22 fake passports being issued at the same address has come to light in Bhojpur police station area of ​​Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. In this case, the Crime Branch has arrested two accused including the mastermind. The mastermind got passports made on the basis of fake documents and charged Rs 1.5 lakh for each passport. A postman of Bhojpur police station involved in the racket is still absconding, the search for him is going on.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Piyush Singh said that the arrested accused have been identified. The names of the accused are Mushtaq Ahmed (resident Jamia Nagar, Delhi) and Mudasir Khan (resident Daryaganj, Delhi). Mushtaq earlier lived in Khayala area of ​​Delhi and worked as a property dealer as well as making passports. During interrogation, he revealed that he used to charge Rs 1.5 lakh from every customer for getting a fake passport made.

Every member of the gang had a specific responsibility and the money was distributed on the basis of that. Mudasir’s responsibility was to bring customers, in return for which he got Rs 25,000 per passport. After the fake documents were prepared, the passport process was monitored by gang member Vivek Gandhi, who has already been arrested by the police and sent to jail.

Mudasir told during interrogation that he was originally a resident of Batmaloo area of ​​Srinagar (Kashmir) and was living in Daryaganj for many years. There he worked as a cab driver. In the year 2019, he met Mushtaq in connection with preparing fake documents. After this, both of them formed a gang to obtain the passport through fake documents.

The accused confessed that passport applications were made from their own mobile numbers. Of the 22 applications, 13 applications were made from the same mobile number, while the others were made from different numbers. According to ADCP Crime Piyush Singh, investigation also revealed that the gang members used to prepare documents like Aadhaar card, driving license, birth certificate and bank passbook fraudulently. Applications for passport were made on the basis of these fake documents.
