The general public will have to suffer the consequences of the military operation: Russia’s statement on Iran!

Russia has condemned the US-Israel joint action against Iran and said that the public is still paying the price of this violence and will have to suffer in the future also. He also accused the US of making an excuse for the attack.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a press briefing on Wednesday that the alleged threat from Iran was being used as a pretext to pursue a plan to violently end the constitutional order in an independent UN member state.

He alleged that the United States is no longer even trying to hide that it wants “regime change” in Iran.

Zakharova strongly condemned the attack on a girls’ primary school in Minab city of Iran. According to him, this “barbaric attack” resulted in the death of 165 people, most of whom were schoolgirls. He said that such incidents targeting children are not only a violation of international humanitarian law but also a direct attack on basic human values.

He said that Iran’s administration is trying to control the situation, so that there is no atmosphere of chaos there. However, the worst consequences of a military campaign will be borne by civilians, infrastructure, the region, and the global economy.

The Russian spokesperson alleged that the incident was being widely ignored in Western countries. He said that usually when children die in a conflict, there is a strong reaction at the global level, but in this case such voices were not being heard. He called it an example of double standards.

Zakharova stressed that the violence, which is leading to rising civilian deaths, must be stopped immediately, as it is worsening the situation and increasing regional instability. He appealed to all parties to exercise restraint and resolve the situation through diplomatic means, so that innocent lives can be saved and the scope of the conflict does not spread further.
