The trailer of Aditya Dhar’s much-awaited film Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Dhurandhar 2) was released on Saturday (March 7). In this trailer of about three and a half minutes, Ranveer Singh is seen as an undercover agent, who sets out on a mission of revenge by uncovering the secrets of his past.
The trailer shows the story of Ranveer Singh’s character from Jaskirat Singh Rangi to becoming Hamza. The story takes place in the city of Karachi, Pakistan, where his character makes his mark in the crime world. The trailer shows him emerging as “Sher-e-Baloch” and the new king of Lyari.
The trailer of the film starts with a scene of IC-814 hijacking, reminiscent of the first part. The story then shows how Ranveer’s character kills the dacoit Rehman in the first part and then takes over the power by taking over his legacy. Actor Akshay Khanna played the role of Rehman dacoit in the film.
Many action sequences and powerful dialogues are seen in the trailer. Among these, a dialogue of Ranveer Singh is especially in discussion, “Now Pakistan’s future will be decided by Hindustan”. While sharing the trailer, Ranveer Singh wrote on social media, “I had said that this is personal…”
Apart from Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun will also be seen in important roles in the film. In the trailer, Sara Arjun is also shown holding a gun in a sharp and aggressive manner.
The release schedule of the film has also been changed. Earlier this film was scheduled to hit the theaters on March 19 and it was going to clash with Toxic, in which Yash is in the lead role. However later the makers announced that the film will now release on June 4. The producers cited the ongoing conflict in West Asia as the reason behind this and said that in the current situation it may be difficult to reach the film to a wide audience globally.
‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ is actually the sequel to the film ‘Dhurandhar’ and the second and final part of the series. Both parts were shot simultaneously. The first film was released in December 2025 and was successful at the box office. After the release of the trailer, the discussion about the film has intensified on social media and curiosity about its action and story has increased among the audience.
