Nishant joins JDU, promises to live up to public trust!

Nishant Kumar, son of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, started his political innings on Sunday by joining Janata Dal United. Nishant took membership of JDU in a function organized at JDU office in Patna.

After accepting the membership of JDU, he said that I will try to live up to the trust you have expressed. He was accepted the membership of the party by the party’s National Executive President Sanjay Kumar Jha and Union Minister Lalan Singh. On this occasion, many senior party leaders including Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Shravan Kumar, Bijendra Yadav, Ramnath Thakur were present.

Nishant also said that my father Nitish Kumar has decided to go to Rajya Sabha, it is his personal decision and I accept and respect that decision. He also said that we all will work under the guidance of father Nitish Kumar.

He also said that I will work to strengthen the organization according to the party workers. I will try to spread the work that my father has done in Bihar to everyone and will try to make a home in the hearts of the people.

He said, “Everyone will remember what my father has done in 20 years. The people of Bihar are proud of what he has done in 20 years. All of you keep your morale up.”

Speculations about Nishant’s entry into politics were going on for a long time. From senior JDU leaders to common workers had been demanding Nishant’s entry into politics. There is huge enthusiasm among party leaders and workers about his entry into politics. During this, the workers kept raising slogans in support of Nishant and Nitish Kumar. Nishant sitting on the stage kept accepting the greetings of all the workers with folded hands.

When Nishant reached here, he was given a warm welcome by the workers. During this program, slogans like ‘Jai Nitish-Jai Nishant’, ‘If Nishant is there, there is no worry’ were raised inside and outside the office. Special preparations were made for this event in the party office. Nishant reached the party office amidst the beats of drums. Several posters and banners supporting Nishant were put up outside the office.

It is being told that Nishant will soon start a journey across Bihar, the aim of which is to communicate directly with the public and make his mark at the grassroots level. Workers are also raising demands from within the party to give them bigger responsibilities.

There is also a demand to make Nishant the Chief Minister. After Nitish Kumar’s Rajya Sabha nomination, Nishant’s entry into active politics is being considered very important for the political future of the state. It is being said that Nishant will take forward the work of Nitish.
