Middle East crisis: Indian Embassy in Iran advised to be cautious!

Tension has increased in the Gulf region after the joint military attack on Iran by America and Israel. In view of the situation, the Indian government on Monday once again issued an advisory for its citizens living in Iran and appealed to stay in their homes.

The Indian Embassy in Iran issued new guidelines advising its citizens to remain cautious and avoid unnecessary travel. It has been advised to take care of yourself, avoid unnecessary travel and stay in touch with the embassy.

The advisory primarily advises Indians to coordinate with the embassy before traveling outside Iran’s land borders.

Indian citizens have been advised not to attempt to cross any land border of Iran without prior coordination with the Embassy. Once exiting Iranian territory, no assistance will be provided by the embassy, ​​especially if there are problems with entry into a third country.

In view of the seriousness of the situation, it has been advised to avoid unnecessary travel, stay indoors and keep in touch with the embassy and keep an eye on local news.

Several advisories have been issued between January and March 2026, advising Indians to leave Iran, not to travel and to stay safe. In the advisory dated March 3, 2026, emphasis was laid on staying indoors and being cautious.
