Milind Soman said, South cinema is ahead of teamwork and speed, told the difference of Hindi cinema!
The model and actor, in an exclusive conversation with IANS, talked about the difference in the environment of the two industries. Milind Soman said, “People work very comfortably in the South. There are very few things there which you have to handle or negotiate again and again. I don’t do it myself, but I feel it after seeing the people around me.”
Talking especially about Tamil cinema, Milind praised teamwork. He said that work on the sets of South goes very fast and efficiently. It is easy to get things completed on time. Even if there is any hindrance, the team takes care of it quickly.
However, he also admitted that the challenges in outdoor shooting are the same everywhere. The actor said, “The schedule gets affected due to change in weather, rain or other reasons. It is not easy for the unit also. The style of work depends on every production. I have worked in Hindi films too, but every unit is different. A lot depends on the producer and how the team will work.”
Currently Milind Soman is ready for his new Tamil web series ‘Kattaan’. Vijay Sethupathi is also in the lead role with her in this series. Milind will be seen in a strong and mysterious character in the series.
This web series will be released on JioHotstar on March 27. The show will also be dubbed in English, Hindi, Marathi and some other South Indian languages.
