Those who suffer from bile should eat these things
People with Pitta Prakriti often feel more heat in their body, get angry easily and also sweat easily. Therefore, it is very important for them to follow proper eating habits and lifestyle.
First of all, talking about grains, light and nutritious grains like barley, rice and wheat are good for them. They also give strength to the body and help in reducing heat. One should stay away from heavy or heat producing pulses like urad dal, horse gram.
While eating fruits, people with Pitta nature should pay attention to sweet and light fruits. Apples, pears, figs, raisins and amla are good choices. These provide coolness and relief to the body. Cranberry and excessively spicy or sour fruits should be avoided, but pomegranate and amla can be eaten in small quantities.
Vegetables with sweet and bitter taste balance pitta. Eating vegetables like cucumber, bitter gourd, peas, parwal and asparagus keeps the body cool. On the other hand, the consumption of heat producing or spicy vegetables like brinjal, onion, garlic, carrot and spinach should be reduced.
Spices also affect bile. Light and cooling things like turmeric, fennel, coriander, saffron and cardamom are beneficial. At the same time, asafoetida, black pepper and more spicy spices can increase bile.
Dairy products are very good for those with Pitta nature. Milk, ghee and buttermilk provide coolness and keep the body balanced. At the same time, eating meat, especially of creatures living in water, can increase bile, hence it should be avoided. Natural sweeteners like sugarcane and some dry herbs help keep the body in balance.
Apart from this, it is also necessary to make changes in lifestyle. People with Pitta nature should not stay in too much sunlight. It’s relaxing to spend time near open water, listen to music, and have fountains or water-sounding items in the home. This keeps the mind calm and body heat also reduces.
