Tarkishore Prasad’s taunt on TMC manifesto, voters will not fall for it!
Senior BJP leader from Bihar Tarkishore Prasad has hit back at TMC’s manifesto in the assembly elections to be held in West Bengal. He said that this time the public will not fall into any trap of Mamata Banerjee.
Speaking to IANS in Katihar, Tarkishore Prasad said that the West Bengal Chief Minister is trying to influence the voters through various promises made in her party’s manifesto, but the people of Bengal will not be impressed by such assurances.
He said that the public cannot forget the way Mamata Banerjee’s party TMC has treated the people of Bengal. The public no longer wants TMC government.
Referring to the infiltrators, the senior BJP leader said that Mamata Banerjee has always tried to win elections by making Bangladeshi infiltrators citizens and voters of Bengal. This is unfortunate for democracy. No matter how many claims and promises Mamata Banerjee makes in her manifesto, this time the public has woken up and will not fall into the trap of Mamata Banerjee.
Tarkishore Prasad said that TMC leaders have exploited the weaker sections of the society. They have been mistreated, it is not hidden from anyone. Even if TMC makes many promises, for how long will the public trust false promises.
Since the announcement of West Bengal assembly elections, the round of allegations and counter-allegations has intensified between TMC and BJP leaders. While TMC is claiming to return to power, BJP candidates are also claiming to defeat TMC candidates in their respective assembly constituencies.
TMC chief and CM Mamata Banerjee has recently released the election-related manifesto. In the manifesto he claimed that all sections have been given a place in it. At the same time, BJP has attacked amidst this manifesto. BJP leaders have said that Mamata Banerjee’s farewell is fixed on May 4. That is why the manifesto is not going to make any difference to the voters.
