NotJustArt- Adani Greenxtox launches Global Ability Photography Challenge 2026!
NotJustArt and Adani GreenxTox on Thursday launched the fifth edition of the ‘Global Ability Photography Challenge (GAPC) 2026, an international photography competition exclusively dedicated to people with disabilities.
The objective of this competition is to provide a big platform to disabled photographers from all over the world to showcase their talent and vision. Persons with disabilities from any country in the world can participate in this and participation in it is completely free.
Over the past four editions, the initiative has grown significantly, reaching over 8 million people and 50,000 participants from over 30 countries.
Last year, the selected photos of this competition were displayed in Japan and Dubai, which further expanded its scope.
Both amateur and professional disabled photographers can send their photos in this competition. Such photos have been sought from them, which reflect their experiences and their different thinking.
The organizers said that the aim of this initiative is to bring the voices of the disabled into the mainstream and change the perception of them in the society through photography.
Jeet Adani, Director, Adani Airports Holdings Limited, said that the initiative aims to bring together talent from across the world through photography. He described it as a universal and creative medium which works to connect people across borders.
“Really, every picture is worth a thousand words,” he said.
Meera Shenoy, Founder and CEO of Youth4Jobs Foundation, said that this initiative shows that people with disabilities can achieve great things with their creativity when given the right platform.
A huge prize money has been kept in this competition to honor the outstanding talents. First prize will be given as Rs 5 lakh, second prize will be given as Rs 3 lakh and third prize will be given as Rs 2 lakh.
Apart from this, Rs 1 lakh each will be given to the participants coming from 4th to 10th place. Additionally, the top 20 photos will be showcased in a special exhibition and the top 10 winners will also be given trophies.
