Actor Manav Gohil recently had an exclusive conversation with IANS. During this, regarding the appreciation received for the film, he said that Dhurandhar has brought a revolution in cinema and it is like the beginning of a new era.

He said, “I think times are changing now. ‘Dhurandhar’ shows a more global and evolved form of cinema. Today’s audience is more aware and they don’t like films made just for profit. It is important to make meaningful and genuine films which also entertain the audience.”

He said, “In today’s time, there are no shortcuts or any pretense. I believe that this can be the beginning of a new era of filmmaking and I have full hope that this trend will continue in the future also.”

Regarding working long hours in television, he said, “The format of TV demands that maximum content can be created in a short period of time. It is a bit like playing cricket in the sun. If you want to play this game, you cannot escape from it. If the lead actor does not give his full time then it becomes difficult to shoot. So long working hours are part of the process.”

The actor also talked about his upcoming project in the conversation. He said, “I would like to thank all my fans for continuously giving me their love and support for so many years. Now my show is coming soon, I have also completed one of my regional films and have also started shooting for a big project.”
