Do you drink a lot of water after waking up in the morning? This habit can make you sick!

In today’s time, many things are said about the beginning of the morning. Some people recommend drinking a lot of water in a copper vessel, while others recommend drinking a lot of water in a silver vessel, but is it right to drink a lot of water as soon as you wake up in the morning?

There are benefits of drinking water, but drinking a lot of water in this manner in the morning can be harmful for health.

Drinking lots of water on an empty stomach affects the digestive power. In the morning the digestive fire is dim and instead of awakening it, it is extinguished by drinking lots of water. Then the food taken for breakfast starts rotting in the stomach instead of being digested. Due to inability to digest other food, the problem of toxin starts increasing in the stomach. The body does not get nutrition and the problem of constipation starts.

The third biggest problem is that drinking too much water after waking up in the morning puts a lot of pressure on the body. Due to this, there is problem of heaviness in the stomach and also loss of appetite. Many people also complain of pain due to drinking too much water on an empty stomach.

Now the question is what to do. In Ayurveda, it is advised to drink water according to its nature and water should also be taken in small quantities only. Drink lukewarm water as much as you feel thirsty. Do not try to drink 1 liter of water early in the morning, as it can cause heaviness and vomiting. Drink water only when you feel thirsty. Avoid drinking a lot of water at once in the amount of 2 litres.

Try to increase water intake a little every day in your daily routine. Along with this, always drink water while sitting and sip it. Avoid drinking water while standing. This affects the digestive power. Increase the amount of water during summer season, but avoid drinking excess water during other seasons. In winter, you can drink lukewarm water throughout the day, but in summer, drink water only with normal temperature.
