Positive talks on seafarer safety between Philippines and Iran, Foreign Minister said!
Philippines Foreign Minister Ma Theresa Lazaro spoke over phone with Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi. Lazaro described the conversation between the two leaders as very productive. During this conversation, a positive understanding was reached between the two on ensuring the safety of sailors.
“Based on recent talks, we have reached a positive understanding on the safety of our seafarers and the security of our energy supplies,” Lazaro wrote in a post on social media platform X.
Last month, the Philippines government said about 7,300 Filipino sailors were in high-risk areas in the Middle East, including the Arabian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz and the Gulf of Oman.
The Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s army has asked the operational headquarters to keep an eye on every moment’s movements of America and Israel, so that ground attacks can be faced.
Iran’s state-run IRNA news service has shared a video, which shows security forces chief Amir Hatami meeting with other military leaders.
“If the enemy tries to conduct a ground operation, not a single man should be left alive,” IRNA quoted Hatami as saying.
The summary further said, “It is necessary to monitor the movements and actions of the enemies with complete accuracy at every moment and make a plan to counter the enemy’s attack methods.”
On the other hand, US President Donald Trump said that Washington has destroyed the Iranian army and is close to achieving its war objective. Only after Trump said this, Iran has started new missile attacks on Israel.
Before addressing the nation, US President Trump said that Tehran had asked for ceasefire. However, Iran had clearly denied Trump’s claim.
Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pejeshkian said that his country has no hostility towards America, Europe or the people of neighboring countries.
