Delhi Assembly Car Broke Into The Gate Driver Absconds With Vehicle
There was a stir after a major lapse in security arrangements came to light in the Delhi Assembly complex. An unknown car with Uttar Pradesh registration number broke the barricades and entered the premises. In the incident that took place on Monday (April 6), the car entered the assembly by breaking the main entrance gate, causing chaos among the employees and security personnel.
According to eyewitnesses, the car remained inside the premises for some time and then came out and fled from the spot. This incident has raised serious questions on the security arrangements of the state assembly.
According to the information, the accused hit Gate No. 2 of Delhi Assembly and fled from there. This incident happened around 2:30 pm. The registration number of the vehicle is said to be of Agra (Uttar Pradesh). The police took immediate action and started searching for the car.
According to reports, after forcibly entering the Assembly, the driver went towards Assembly Speaker Vijendra Gupta’s office and returned with a bouquet of flowers there.
Delhi Police said that a car with Uttar Pradesh number forcibly entered from gate number 2 by breaking the iron gate. The driver placed a bouquet of flowers there and fled with the vehicle. Police is busy searching for the vehicle. According to the police, CRPF personnel are deployed at that gate and efforts are being made to identify the accused on the basis of CCTV footage.
Delhi Police has started a detailed investigation to trace the vehicle and identify the driver on the basis of CCTV footage and other evidence. The administration is reviewing the entry routes and the assembly employees present at the time of the incident are also being interrogated. This incident has exposed the shortcomings in the security of the Assembly, due to which there is a demand for strict monitoring and strict investigation.
