Congress defeated after seeing enthusiasm in Assam, PM Modi’s sharp attack!

In view of the Assam Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a huge public meeting in Dibrugarh on Monday. During this, he strongly attacked the opposition. Seeing the huge crowd in the public meeting and the enthusiasm of the people, the Prime Minister said that he has got the opportunity to visit Dibrugarh many times, but the zeal and enthusiasm seen this time is unprecedented.

Addressing the public meeting, Prime Minister Modi said that this public support is a matter of concern for the Congress. Congress is already shocked and such pictures just before voting will devastate it further. This enthusiasm of the public is giving a strong message.

Praising the cultural diversity and unity of Assam, he said that the state has a glorious heritage of Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat. Many communities like Ahom, Koch-Rajbanshi, Moran, Motok, Mising, Deori have been living here in harmony for centuries.

Some speak Assamese, some Bengali and some Hindi, but everyone has the same dream, developed Assam and developed India. He also remembered the great leaders and personalities of Assam.
Referring to Bhupen Hazarika, Gopinath Bordoloi and Jyoti Prasad Aggarwal, he said that these great personalities have given direction to the Assam society. With the inspiration of these ancestors, the BJP-NDA government is developing Dibrugarh as a big business and economic hub.

During this, Prime Minister Modi also made a sharp attack on Congress. He said that the highway from Numaligarh to Dibrugarh is a clear example of Congress’s neglect towards Assam. The project was approved in 2005, but there was no progress till 2013, when the Congress government was at the Centre.

PM Modi alleged that Congress gave step-motherly treatment to Assam, due to which the development of areas like Upper Assam and Barak Valley was affected. Due to this neglect, Assam remained backward and divided for a long time. Decades of misgovernance by the Congress left no concern for the connectivity of Assam. Be it Bogibeel Bridge, Bhupen Hazarika Bridge, Jorhat-Majuli Bridge, such bridges being built on Brahmaputra and other rivers are taking the connectivity of this region to new heights.

PM Modi further said that a few days ago, the world saw a spectacular sight in Moran, where fighter jets landed on a new highway built by the BJP-NDA government. I also landed on the same road along with the Air Force. Just ten years ago, the people of Assam had to beg for road infrastructure, i.e. motorable roads.
