West Bengal Elections Amit Shah Releases BJP’s Bharosa Patra Says Every Section Will Benefit

BJP released its election manifesto on Friday (April 10) regarding the West Bengal Assembly elections, which the party has named ‘Bharosa Patra’. Union Home Minister Amit Shah unveiled this manifesto at a program organized in Kolkata. All major sections including women, youth and farmers have been kept in mind in the manifesto. It also includes promises of several schemes and cash assistance.

On this occasion, Amit Shah said that this resolution letter will show the way to bring Bengal out of despair. He claimed that this document gives assurance of establishing rule of law, increasing employment and construction of ‘Sonar Bangla’. He said, “This resolution letter is a roadmap for the development of Bengal, which will give a new direction to people of every section.”

Amit Shah also launched a scathing attack on the state’s ruling TMC. He said that the people of Bengal were first fed up with the leftist government and brought Mamata Banerjee to power. Then he was given a second and third chance but the government did not live up to the expectations of the people.

He alleged that problems like ‘syndicate raj, goonda raj and infiltration’ have increased under TMC rule. Amit Shah said that today the same people, who once supported Mamata Banerjee, are now feeling insecure and disappointed and want change.

Regarding the resolution letter, Amit Shah said that it will work towards rescuing farmers from agricultural crisis, giving opportunities to unemployed youth and providing a safe environment to women. It will also give new hope and confidence to every citizen who is proud of the cultural heritage of Bengal.

He said that this manifesto has been prepared in line with the ‘Developed India’ vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and presents a clear roadmap of development for Bengal.

Home Minister Amit Shah said that ‘zero tolerance’ will be implemented against infiltration. I assure the people that we will identify the infiltrators, remove them from the list and send them out of the country. All government employees will get dearness allowance and salary will be given as per the Seventh Pay Commission. Kurmali and Rajbongshi languages will be included in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution. Assistance will be provided for cultivation of rice, potato and mango. All fishermen will be registered under PM Matsya Sampada Yojana and West Bengal will be made a leading industrial and fish-export hub to boost the economy.

He said that BJP will give Rs 3,000 to every woman. Uniform Civil Code (UCC) will be implemented and unemployed youth will be given Rs 3,000. Along with ‘Ayushman Bharat Yojana’ all the schemes of the Central Government will be implemented. Free HPV vaccination, breast cancer screening, AIIMS, IITs and IIMs will be established in North Bengal. Along with this, a ‘Vande Mataram Museum’ will be established and a law will be made to ensure freedom to follow religious customs.
