Asha Bhosle, one of the most famous singers of Indian music, died in Mumbai on Sunday (April 12). The singer was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on Saturday (April 11) evening. On Sunday afternoon, Asha Bhosle’s son Anand Bhosle confirmed her death. Anand Bhosale said that the body will be kept for last darshan at 11 am on Monday and after that the last rites will be performed at 4 pm.

Asha was the last of the great original singers of Bollywood, whose voice shaped the musical tastes of the industry and the country. Apart from his sister Lata Mangeshkar, he along with stalwarts like Mukesh, Mohammed Rafi and Kishore Kumar ruled the world of Hindi music for more than half a century.

Asha Bhosle, who started her career at the age of about 10, sang more than 12 thousand songs in 22 languages. She also got recognition from ‘Guinness Book of World Records’ as the artist who has recorded the most number of songs in the history of music.

Bhosle, who has given countless evergreen hit songs to the entertainment world, has been honored with many awards and honours, including the Padma Vibhushan and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Talking about the wealth of Asha Bhosle, who gives melodious voice in songs, media reports mention that her estimated net worth ranges from Rs 200 to Rs 250 crore.

She was not only an artist but also a successful businesswoman. Asha Bhosle opened her own restaurant chain across the world. These include his restaurants in Gulf region countries like UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain. Apart from this, restaurants were also opened in Birmingham and Manchester, UK. It is said that Asha herself was a good cook and also trained chefs.

He was also fond of luxury cars. At the same time, according to some reports, he has property worth around Rs 80 to 100 crores. He also has luxurious residential properties in Mumbai and Pune. A luxury apartment was also included, which he sold for a good price.
