Family members raised questions on police over labor disturbance arrest in Noida
One such woman, Vimala, says that her nephew was taken into custody by the police for being involved in the disturbance. But he is innocent. He was just standing near the medical shop. He was not involved in any kind of illegal activity. The police took him into custody merely on the basis of suspicion.
She further told that I had come to meet my nephew. But, the police did not allow them to meet. When I said that I want to meet my nephew Rohit, I was told that there is no person named Rohit sitting here. Even though I informed him about my nephew sitting there, he did not allow me to meet him. I have no choice but to go back after getting tired.
At the same time, other family member Brajesh also defended his brother and claimed that he was not involved in any kind of stone pelting incident. The police took him away unnecessarily. He said that when I went to meet my brother at night, the policemen threatened me and said that they will beat you up and throw you out.
Brajesh said that it is clearly evident from the behavior of the police that they are in no position to release my brother, whereas the truth is that my brother was not involved in any kind of mischievous activities.
According to the information received, after the disturbance by the workers in Noida, a large number of security forces have been deployed at all the sensitive places, who are trying to ensure that no untoward situation arises.
