Case Filed Against Prakash Raj For Controversial Statement On Ramayana

Actor Prakash Raj is often in the news due to his controversial statements. This time he narrated a story from Ramayana, due to which he is being severely criticized. After his statement, a criminal complaint has also been registered against him. Referring to Ramayana in an event, he said that Ram and Lakshman had stolen fruits from Ravana’s garden.

A video of Prakash Raj is going viral at the moment, in which he is seen giving the example of Ramayana to present his point. In the story he told, he said, “Rama, Lakshman and Sita were going towards the south. Then Lakshman said, Ram! How lucky we are, look at that forest. Ram said, no, it is someone’s field. Lakshman asked, there are fruits there, can we eat? Ram said, yes. Lakshman asked, but will it not be stolen? Ram said, no! If you are hungry, you can eat. When they started eating the fruits, Shurpanakha got angry and said, “Brother, they are hungry, we will talk to Laxman later.” Ravana said, “No!”

Taking the story forward, Prakash Raj also added the issue of GST and North-South dispute. He said, “Ram said, we have eaten the fruits, so we will give you money also. On this, Shurpanakha calculated and said, it is 2000 dollars including GST. Ram and Lakshman said, we do not have money. Then Ravana gave them a discount of 20%, but still they said that they do not have money. On this, Ravana said, if even after the discount, there is no money, then work here. Those who have eaten fruits, plant their seeds, trees. Prepare and then go.”

Through this interpretation of his ‘Ramayana’, Prakash Raj was commenting on the North-South dispute. He appealed to the people coming to South India from North India not to impose Hindi on them. He said, “Don’t stop us from eating beef by becoming bank managers. We will even organize a beef festival.”

Now a big controversy has arisen regarding this video. Angry people have demanded his removal from the film ‘Varanasi’. The special thing is that Prakash Raj is going to play the role of a Shiva devotee in this film. One person said that while talking about respecting his culture, he has insulted our culture. At the same time, some people have also accused him of creating division between North and South India.
