BJP demands apology from Kharge for calling PM Modi a terrorist!

Karnataka BJP has demanded an immediate apology from AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge for allegedly calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi a ‘terrorist’. Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru on Wednesday, opposition leader R. Ashok said Prime Minister Modi has had the longest tenure and objected to AICC President Kharge’s remarks questioning his patriotism.

He said that even in the past when Prime Minister Modi was mocked by calling him a ‘chaiwala’, it had turned into a campaign in his favor, and such criticisms have only benefited the BJP.

He alleged that Congress leaders are making such statements out of fear of not returning to power. Ashoka claimed that the entire nation knew who the real ‘traitors’ were.

He alleged that during the cooker bomb blast incident in the state, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar had addressed the accused as ‘brothers’.

He also alleged that supporters of a close aide of Kharge raised pro-Pakistan slogans inside Vidhan Soudha.

He criticized Kharge for not reacting to these incidents and not speaking about Pakistan. He demanded that Kharge apologize to the people of the country and announced that BJP MLAs in Bengaluru will protest in front of Vidhana Soudha on Thursday in protest against this statement.

Ashoka claimed that BJP is getting strong support in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, while Congress is facing defeat. He said the BJP will win in Assam and West Bengal and the pre-poll survey reports have disappointed Congress leaders.

He alleged that they were insulting Prime Minister Modi to divert attention from his impending defeat.

He also referred to the raids conducted by the Enforcement Directorate on properties belonging to the family of Congress MLA NA Hari and raised questions as to why no chargesheet has been filed even after three years of investigation in the Bitcoin scam. He asked Home Minister G. Asked God for clarification.
