Investigation intensified in Goregaon Nesco concert drug case, consignment of Rs 15 lakh found with the main accused!

The investigation into the Goregaon Nesco concert drug case in Maharashtra has now intensified. According to the police, a large quantity of intoxicants have been recovered from Ayush, the main accused in this case, which has made the case more serious.

According to the information, about 933 MDMA pills have been recovered from accused Ayush. Their price in the international market is said to be more than Rs 15 lakh. After receiving such a huge consignment, the police is no longer considering it as just a local matter, rather a big network is being suspected behind it.

The police investigation is now focusing on how these drugs reached AYUSH, that is, the entire supply chain is being investigated, who gave the goods, where did it come from and to whom it was to be delivered?

Police say that this case is not limited to just one accused and involvement of more people may come to light.

It is being told that the strings of this racket may be connected to other areas of the city as well as outside states. Keeping this in mind, the police is also investigating technical investigation, call details and financial trail.

It is noteworthy that last week the police had arrested the main accused Ayush Vicky (24 years) from Poladpur, Raigarh. He was planning to escape to Goa by car with his two friends, but before that the police caught him and handed him over to Vanrai police.

It is alleged that Ayush had distributed ‘Ecstasy’ in a live concert held at Nesco Center in Goregaon, Mumbai, due to the overdose of which two youths died. More than six people have been arrested so far in this case.
