72.43% voting in West Bengal re-poll, political disputes intensified!

TMC leader Joyprakash Majumdar termed the post as a violation of service rules and said that a police officer on duty is not allowed to share such pictures. He also raised the question whether the weapon shown in the picture was authorized or not. The matter has also been raised with Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and other senior officials.

Ahead of the counting of votes, the Election Commission has deployed 165 additional counting observers and 77 police observers in the state to ensure security and transparency. The results of this high-voltage election will be revealed with the counting of votes on May 4, on which the eyes of the entire country are fixed.
