JDU MLC Neeraj Kumar released ‘Nitish Archive’, purpose is to save precious memories!

State spokesperson of JDU, the main ally of the ruling NDA in Bihar, Neeraj Kumar on Sunday released the ‘Nitish Archive’ of former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Releasing “Nitish Archive” in a press conference held at his official residence, he said that this is not just a documentary project but a historical initiative to preserve the political, social and ideological journey of Bihar.

Its objective is to safely and systematically convey the public life, thoughts, struggles, decisions and journey of social change of former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to the coming generations. He said that “Nitishism” is an inclusive ideological vision based on social justice, development, social harmony, women empowerment and identity of Bihar.

Nitishism is the name of bringing the ideological tradition of Mahatma Gandhi, Loknayak Jaiprakash Narayan, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia and Jannayak Karpoori Thakur to the ground with modern administrative vision and development model.

He said that through “Nitish Archive”, old videos, news articles, historical documents, photographs and personal memoirs of Parliament, Bihar Legislature, public meetings and media interactions will be digitally compiled and made available to the public.

Besides, personal memories of common citizens, activists, journalists and experts will also be preserved in the form of video documentation. On Nitish Archive, he has appealed to the people to share their thoughts, videos and memories and has also given information through various mediums.

He said that under “Nitish Archive Yatra”, a special team will visit different districts of Bihar for the next nine months and collect important memories, photos, videos, documents and personal experiences related to Nitish Kumar.

JDU leader Neeraj Kumar said that important memories related to many great leaders in history were destroyed with time. “Nitish Archive” is an organized effort to prevent this historical mistake and preserve the socio-political history of Bihar through public participation which will be useful for youth, journalists, students and researchers in the years to come.
