The Airbases Pakistan Boasted Of Missile Strikes On Dont Even Exist
Pakistan is being trolled on social media over the missile and drone attacks carried out by Pakistan during the heightened military tension between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack last year. A video of a Pakistani military officer is going viral on social media, in which he is claiming that Pakistani Fateh-1 missiles successfully targeted two Indian airbases, Rajouri Airbase and Mamun Airbase. Let us tell you that there is no official Air Force airbase like Rajouri and Mamun airbase in India.
An officer associated with Pakistan’s Operation Bunyan Ul Marsoos gave the statement in an interview given to a local Pakistani channel. This operation was launched in response to India’s Operation Sindoor. During that time, Pakistan had carried out drone and missile attacks targeting many areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
The Pakistani Army had used the Fateh-1 guided artillery rocket on May 10 last year. “We were given two targets, Rajouri Airbase and Mamun Airbase, and we hit both successfully,” claimed officer Captain Muneeb Jamal in the interview.
However, the reality is that Rajouri is a district of Jammu and Kashmir, where the Indian Air Force does not have any operational airbase. Mamun is a military cantonment area located near Pathankot in Punjab, but there too there is no Air Force station named Mamun Airbase.
In the interview, when the anchor asked a question on the presence of civilians during the Fatah-1 missile launch, the officer claimed that the presence of locals was a confidence-boosting factor for the soldiers.

After this statement came to light, Pakistan’s claims are being made fun of on social media. One user wrote on X, “Archaeologists, cartographers, Google Maps and the Indian Air Force have together started searching for ‘Rajouri Airbase’ and ‘Mamun Airbase’. If anyone finds the location, please send it to the government.”
Another post read, “Fatah-1 attacked Rajouri and Mamun airbases with such force that they vanished from existence. Next target: Atlantis?”
It is noteworthy that during Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos, Pakistan had also claimed to target India’s Udhampur, Pathankot and Adampur airbases. After this, missile debris was recovered from fields in Sirsa in Haryana, Barmer in Rajasthan and Jalandhar in Punjab.
In September 2025, debris of a missile was also recovered from Dal Lake in Srinagar, which was believed to be part of the Fateh-1 missile. Apart from this, there were also reports that Pakistan had fired Fatah-II surface-to-surface missile, which was intercepted by Indian air defense systems near Sirsa.
An interview of a Pakistani officer has exposed the entire military operation of Pakistan. Pakistan, which is boasting about the figures of downing of planes on social media, is being insulted a lot on social media.
