Maharashtra Raigarh accident: Vehicle fell into ditch, 8 died, CM expressed grief!
According to officials, the vehicle lost control and fell into a valley about 1,000 feet deep in the hilly area of Raigarh district. Rescue teams have so far recovered three bodies, which have been sent for post-mortem, while efforts to search and rescue the others are underway. So far eight people have died in this accident.

He further wrote, “These eight friends were going on a trip. During this, their vehicle fell into a 1,500 feet deep valley, as a result of which the bodies were scattered at different places. The district administration has immediately started relief and rescue operations and formed 5 teams of 7 personnel each.
Officials said teams of police, local administration and disaster relief units have been deployed at the accident site. Rescue workers are trying to reach the ditch with the help of ropes and special equipment.
Officials said that the rescue operation is facing difficulties due to the inaccessible terrain and extreme depth of the valley. The deceased have not yet been officially identified.
At the same time, news of another horrific road accident has been received from Dhule on Monday morning, in which six people died and 26 others were injured in a collision between multiple vehicles on the Mumbai-Agra highway. All the injured were admitted to the district hospital for treatment and the police have started investigating the accident.
