The second phase of formation of BJP government in West Bengal is going to be completed on Monday. The cabinet will be expanded on Monday and 35 new ministers will be administered the oath of office. Giving information on social media platform X, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari said that the State Council of Ministers will be expanded and 35 new ministers will take oath.
The swearing-in ceremony will be held at Nabanna (State Secretariat) at 11 am on Monday, where Governor RN Ravi will administer the oath of office and secrecy to the ministers.

Let us tell you that Suvendu Adhikari took oath as the Chief Minister of West Bengal on 9 May. With this, a historic change was registered in the politics of the state, because for the first time BJP formed the government in West Bengal with absolute majority. The BJP ended the 15-year rule of the Trinamool Congress by securing a clear majority in the 294-member assembly.

Governor R. at the grand swearing-in ceremony held at Brigade Parade Ground, Kolkata. N. Ravi had administered the oath of office to Suvendu Adhikari as Chief Minister. Along with him, five other leaders also took oath as ministers. These included Dilip Ghosh, Agnimitra Paul, Ashok Kirtania, Khudiram Tudu and Nisith Pramanik.

Now with the cabinet expansion, the BJP government is going to further strengthen its team at the administrative level. Political experts believe that by inducting new ministers, the government will try to give representation to different regions and social classes. This swearing-in ceremony to be held in Nabanna is being considered an important political and administrative step for the new BJP government of West Bengal.
