Illegal Structure Of Noori Masjid In Bhayandar Demolished
Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) has launched a major campaign against alleged illegal constructions. During this, alleged unauthorized structures present in the Noori Masjid complex located in Gold Nest Circle area were demolished. Officials said action was also initiated against an alleged illegal temple structure located nearby.
The operation began at around 5 a.m. amid tight security arrangements. A large number of police forces were deployed to deal with any possible law and order situation. Barricades were installed in the area and movement around was controlled so that no untoward incident took place during the operation.
According to Municipal Corporation officials, this action was taken following administrative orders and a long-running investigation and review process. Officials say that some constructions in the concerned premises were allegedly done without valid permission, against whom this step was taken.

According to the information, before the action started, talks continued till late night between the administration and the representatives of the mosque committee. After discussion, the committee agreed to cooperate with the administration. After this, the process of removing important items and other materials present in the premises was started, due to which the demolition operation could be completed without any hindrance.
In the visuals that emerged from the spot, municipal corporation personnel, administrative officials and police forces were seen monitoring the action. The alleged illegal structures were removed with the help of heavy machinery. Officials say that the entire process was conducted peacefully and there was no protest or confrontation of any kind.
The administration also initiated action against a temple structure located nearby. According to officials, people from both the communities cooperated with the administration, due to which the situation remained under control and the operation could be completed peacefully.
Although there was a tense atmosphere in the area for some time when the action started, but due to heavy police deployment and cooperation of local representatives the situation remained completely under control. Police and administration continued to monitor the entire area.
Campaigns against encroachment and alleged illegal constructions have been going on in the Mira-Bhayandar area for the last few years. Officials say that this action is part of the same sequence and such campaigns will continue in future also.
The administration has clarified that the action against illegal constructions is not being taken targeting any particular community or institution. According to officials, action will be taken against all types of alleged illegal constructions, religious and non-religious alike.
Municipal Corporation and police officials said that no incident of violence, damage to public property or injury to any person was reported during the entire operation. Describing it as a successful and peaceful action, the administration said that further necessary steps will be taken as per the law.
