What is BJP’s plan regarding industry and employment in West Bengal, the minister revealed!
Speaking to news agency IANS on Wednesday, he claimed that whenever Indian and foreign investors thought of investing in West Bengal, they were stopped.
Minister Moumita Biswas said that former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee used to go on foreign tours just to show people. Till date he has not taken any steps to invite investors to the state. If it had been raised, the situation would not have been like this today. These people used to go on foreign tours with big delegations, but sadly they did not take any steps in the field of industry. Now our government has been formed in the state.
He said that it cannot be denied that the situation we faced in West Bengal was very unfortunate. Now our government has taken a firm resolve that we will establish factories in the state tomorrow under any circumstances. People could not get job opportunities in the previous government.
At the same time, he assured that the way the Syndicate used to create hurdles in setting up factories in West Bengal will not be done now during the BJP rule. We will ensure that industries are established in the state smoothly, so that avenues of employment are paved for the people and they do not face any kind of problem in future.
Moumita Biswas, minister in the West Bengal government, said that now if we have unions here, they will work directly for the welfare of the employees and workers. They will not attack and kill the owners of industries. We will work to implement a developmental principle in the state, so that the concept of overall development can be implemented in the state in the coming days.
Besides, the minister also expressed his views regarding jute mill. He said that jute mills have been closed in West Bengal, but now we will consider starting it. Earlier, when jute mills were open, it was directly sent to other countries.
He said that we will try to establish better communication with the government to start industries and factories tomorrow, because usually in the absence of better communication, the pace of development slows down. In such a situation, it becomes necessary to have better communication with the government, so that there are no obstacles in the path of development.
In the end, he took a tough stance against extortionists and said that no one will be spared. Such people will be identified and strict action will be taken against them. I myself have come forward several times in land grabbing cases. I myself have assured them that after taking cognizance of such cases, strict action will be taken.
