Train Pelted With Stones During Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat’s Journey Two Accused Arrested
Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested two of the three accused involved in the stone pelting incident on Shatabdi Express. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat was traveling by this express. This arrest has been made with the help of CCTV footage and the police is trying to nab the third accused.
An incident of stone pelting took place in Swarn Shatabdi Express near Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, in which the window glass of the AC First Class coach was broken. An official said on Friday that Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat was present in the train at that time. The official said that the incident occurred on Thursday evening during a train going from Kanpur to New Delhi and no one was injured.
Speaking to reporters, Additional Director General of Police (ADG) (Agra Zone) S. Of. Bhagwat said, “At around 7:15 pm, when the Swarn Shatabdi Express, in which Mohan Bhagwat was travelling, was passing, someone pelted stones and broke the window glass of the AC First Class coach. Police are investigating the incident to identify and arrest the person who pelted the stones. Fortunately, no one was injured.”

Stone pelting took place on Shatabdi Express (12003) in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. The window glass of Shatabdi Express was broken due to stone pelting on the train near Firozabad. Mohan Bhagwat was present in the train on which stone pelting took place. He was going from Kanpur to Delhi for a program. Stones were pelted at E1 coach of Shatabdi train, in which Mohan Bhagwat was travelling. Police are also investigating from this angle whether the train carrying Mohan Bhagwat was deliberately targeted. The RSS chief was traveling to Delhi by 12003 Lucknow Shatabdi Express after attending an event in Kanpur.
