Let us tell you, PM Modi is reaching France in the last leg of his tour of European countries. Earlier he completed a two-day tour of Slovakia. Regarding the visit to Slovakia, PM Modi said that its results will be very useful in strengthening mutual relations between our countries.

At the same time, the Ministry of External Affairs wrote, “After the successful visit to Slovakia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has left for Evian, France to attend the G-7 Summit.”

In an important milestone for India-Slovakia relations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached the Slovak capital on Monday and the two countries signed several deals, including a key defense agreement. Foreign Secretary (West) Sibi George said that PM Modi was welcomed with full state honors at the invitation of Slovak PM Robert Fico.

Foreign Secretary (West) Sibi George said, “The importance of the visit was further enhanced when President Peter Pellegrini awarded the Indian leader the Order of the White Double Cross First Class at the Presidential Palace. This is Slovakia’s highest civilian honor and is given to very few foreign guests.”
