New India moving forward with the coordination of heritage and development: Shivraj Singh Chauhan!

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said on Wednesday that the new India is moving forward with the coordination of heritage and development. Along with development, the central government is also preserving the cultural heritage and pride of the country. He said that works like redevelopment of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Mahakal Mahalok and Kedarnath Dham are providing new energy to the cultural consciousness of India.

Addressing a press conference organized at the Bihar BJP state office, he said that in the last 12 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has created a new history of development, good governance, public welfare and national pride.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that before the year 2014, the country was going through a period of despair and uncertainty, but under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India gained new direction and new momentum.

He said that with the spirit of national interest being paramount, the Central Government has launched a decisive attack on terrorism and Naxalism. Steps like removal of Article 370 from Kashmir, surgical strike, air strike and Operation Sindhu have introduced India’s new strength to the world.

The Union Minister said that the biggest achievement of the Modi government in 12 years is poor welfare. He said that 25 crore people have come above the poverty line, 4 crore poor families have got permanent houses and more than 60 crore people have got the benefits of Ayushman Bharat scheme. Free ration is being provided to 81 crore people in the country, while 58 crore Jan Dhan accounts have given a new direction to financial inclusion.

He said that the government has given top priority to the empowerment of women. Referring to the achievements of the agriculture sector, Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that there has been a record increase in food grain production. He said that India, which once imported food grains, is today rapidly moving towards a self-reliant agricultural economy.

He said that under the Digital India campaign, there has been an unprecedented growth in UPI transactions and India has become the world’s leading country in the field of digital payments. Self-reliance in the defense sector has increased and India has now become a major exporter of defense equipment. He said with confidence that the NDA government aims to make India a fully developed nation by the year 2047.
