Akshay Kumar reveals, dances on fan’s car; Ahmed Khan said!
Actually, both are busy in the promotion of their upcoming film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’. In this episode, while talking to IANS, he discussed the dark comedy of old films and the way artists work. Akshay Kumar also narrated interesting stories related to the shooting of his film ‘Aflatoon’.
Choreographer and filmmaker Ahmed Khan said, “The film ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron’ was a film whose entire story revolved around a dead body. We all laughed a lot while watching that film. I don’t know why filmmakers hesitate in making such films. This kind of dark comedy can make the audience laugh as much today as it did earlier, but less films are made on such subjects.”
Ahmed Khan further said, “In earlier times, actors were completely new. We had to teach them from the beginning and give them the basic understanding of acting, and then groom them on the sets. But in today’s time, actors already come with training. This change in the film industry has happened naturally with time.”
In this conversation, actor Akshay Kumar expressed his opinion about today’s artists. He said, “Today’s actors do not want to take big risks. By risk, I mean working in multi-starrer films. With folded hands, I request them to work in multi-starrer films.”
Akshay Kumar also shared an interesting and funny anecdote related to his film ‘Aflatoon’. He told, “The car on which I am dancing on the song ‘Aflatoon’ from the film was not taken on rent. That car was passing by and its owner was my fan. I asked him, “Can I dance on your car for five minutes?” , The owner of the car immediately agreed to this. This is how that scene was shot.”
Akshay Kumar also told another interesting incident related to this song. He said, “We have shot at many places without permission, we were stopped from going inside. We shot inside a building, the watchman there comes running to shoo us away. That shot is also in that song. All this happened suddenly, but later the same scene became a part of the film.”
