Insult of Hindu Gods and ‘hate speech’ at Jantar Mantar!

A serious case of openly insulting Sanatan Dharma and promoting anti-national activities has come to light from the platform of the student movement going on at Jantar Mantar on the NEET issue under the leadership of ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP) and Sonam Wangchuk. Against this, today a joint delegation of Supreme Court advocates and ‘Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’ has filed a complaint at Sansad Marg Police Station in New Delhi and demanded an FIR.

This complaint was directly handed over to the Station House Officer (SHO) of Sansad Marg police station. The delegation that filed the complaint included senior assistant of the Supreme Court. Makarand D. Adkar, ed. Amita Sachdeva, Ed. Mayank Dwivedi, Ed. Atul Sharma, Ed. Parth Yadav, Ed. Yadvendra Saxena, Ed. Keshari Satya and representatives of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Shri Karthik Salunkhe and Shri Shriram Lukatuke were present.

The complaint said that stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra has hurt the faith of 100 crore Hindus by making objectionable and derogatory remarks from the stage like “This government has been working for Nita’s husband (Mukesh Ambani) in the name of Sita’s husband (Ram) for years.”

The song “Sab butut (idols) will be removed… Bas naam rahega Allah ka” was sung by a woman from the stage, which is a direct provocative and violent declaration to end idol worship of Sanatan Dharma. Syed Qasim Rasool Ilyas, former member of SIMI, which has been banned by the Government of India due to terrorist activities and father of Delhi riots accused Umar Khalid, was present at this student forum.
Actor Prakash Raj instigated the youth from the stage by glorifying the words “terrorist and Pakistani” and inciting the youth to rebel against the system.

The delegation made it clear that this is not the anti-national agenda of the students, but of the leftists and radical Islamists. Citing the historic judgment given by the Honorable Supreme Court in the case of ‘Hate Speech’ (Shaheen Abdullah vs Union of India), the delegation has demanded the police to take immediate action by taking suo motu accordingly.

The lawyers and the committee have demanded registration of an FIR against all these accused under sections 299, 196, 152 and 353 of the Indian Justice Code (BNS, 2023). Along with this, due to the funding of this entire movement and the SIMI strings attached, an appeal has been made to the Union Home Minister and Delhi Police Commissioner to investigate under UAPA.
